What a great day it was, meeting all you keen collectors! It's always nice to meet you and chat about the bears.

'Bears of Bath' was established in Bath, England in 2007.

The journey so far has been filled with enjoyment and discovery. My bears are
inspired by the City of Bath and the Wiltshire Countryside, where I live and work.

"My Bears are entirely handmade by me, and I take great pride in my work.
All bears come with a signed and numbered certificate BearsofBath."

Bear making requires all my artistic skills.

I've always been an artist; I can't imagine ever doing anything else. I began to draw and paint as soon as I was old enough to hold a pencil then through school, Foundation and my BA(hons) degree at Art College.
I have looked into so many ways of expressing my ideas.
Textiles, Graphic Design and Stained Glass have somehow come together to create my bears. Perhaps an unusual path but all these skills have helped. Also I can’t remember any courses on bear making being on offer?

I've been making my bears professionally for 12 years now and I still look forward to making every new bear. The ever-growing number of my adopted bears will hopefully reach the 2000th bear very soon.

I use the finest materials available.

This Polar bear, like many of the bears I make, is made using an exclusive Steiff Schulte faux fur.

Every bear I make is different, and all are made exclusively by me. I’ve added so many techniques to creations including: Acrylic painting, embroidered designs and lettering, airbrushing and sculpting. And of course I’m always looking for new ideas and techniques to stretch my imagination.

I use many bear making techniques as I love to explore all the possibilities.

Occasionally I make Exclusive bears like
