Storm the Lionbear

I'm very pleased to introduce you to, a very special and luxurious lion bear from Bears of Bath, called Storm. Who is patiently awaiting adoption. This Lion has shades of golden browns and ochres, and is so fluffy and soft : ) He is made from a new design especially created and has several beautiful mohair and faux fur fabrics, mixed with a golden faux cashmere.

He has the beautifully soft variegated brown faux fur which I have used on his Head, legs and Tail, He has ratinee brown mohair on his body and arms, and long brown faux fur around his muzzle. His head is made from 13 separate pieces of fabric, shaped and mixed carefully.
This Lion has been a labour of love spanning several days. I really wanted to sculpt him carefully and really bring him to life. Every part of him is created from new patterns designed to bring out something completely new.

His head has been carefully shaped and then gently shaded using acrylic paints to accent shadows and give him personality and life. He has 12mm English Black Glass eyes with brown eyelids. His nose has been made from coral faux cashmere, airbrushed in brown ochre then carefully sewn into place.

He is fully cotterpin jointed and filled with dense polyester filling for extra weight. When standing he is approx 10 inches high. He has pretty golden faux cashmere foot pads. He has a Bears of Bath 2023 label, sewn into his back.

He will arrive at his new home, carefully wrapped in a box, with his 'Bears of Bath' certificate of authenticity.
He is number 3279 n the Certificated Series

Please note this is a collectors bear and is therefore not suitable for children under 14 years old .

I appreciate that photographs don't always show things as they appear in the flesh. If you are unhappy with your purchase you may return them, WITHIN 7 DAYS, provided they are undamaged and in the new condition you received them. Refunds do not, however, include the postage paid to send them to you or any Paypal payments incurred.

Available on items over £100. Please note that I require a nonrefundable deposit (please inquire for details as this varies with each bear depending on price) which when paid, will secure your creation. Payment can then be made in several payments within a maximum time frame of 3 months.*Please note that all my bears are Collector Bears and therefore are not suitable for anyone under the age of 14 years old due to small parts.




Shipping

POSTAGE: Items are all dispatched within 1-2 working days of payment and sent via Royal Mail. All Overseas packages can be tracked via Royal Mail's website and all are fully compensated if this postage option is selected. I always acknowledge payment quickly and let you know your bear's tracking details as soon as he/she starts her journey to you. All bears come wrapped securely in a strong box with their Bears of Bath signed certificate. As a rough guide postage from the UK to the USA takes 6-10 working days, Europe is generally 3-5 working days

If you wish to order two or more bears please let me know and I will gladly re-calculate postage or refund any extra postage which has already been paid. All postage is charged purely at cost. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact me.

Bears of Bath has also appeared in Teddy Bear Times and this edition of the Teddy Bear Annual. Bears of Bath has just won 1st prize in the Miniature Undressed Section of the British Bear Artists Award 2011.
