'Painting in Wool'©
"From the jumper 'October Sunset' inspired by a magical sky, one late October evening in 2004.
The setting sun was creating a cascade of oranges, yellows and reds
against a purple blue silhouetted landscape. It was truly inspirational.
As the sun set the cold chill of autumn rose like an invisible mist.
The moment just had to be recorded and shared."

There is a magic of light and colour that surrounds us everyday.
The glistening white frost in the orange glow of a November morning
or the layered tones of grey, blue and green in the splintered tors
of a moorland landscape. Never still or fixed in the ever changing
light and season.
To capture in paint or pastel the flow and ebb of mood or shade
never seems to be achieved, unless the canvas too, dances to natures
changing palette?
There is a whim or playful thought to take part, to wear the landscape
and enjoy the moment.
