'Bears of Bath'©

He stands 10" high in his bare feet. Made from long synthetic fur which gives him his distinctive look.. He is Cotter-pin jointed with safety eyes, leather pad paws, polyester filling, black felt nose and of course all hand sewn.

Like all the bears of Comfortable Place Biscuit has a natural *diamond in his left foot pad.

Toffee

Toffee is a big hearted teddy bear who believes everyone and everything. This, of course, gets him into all sorts of scraps, especially his big friend and mentor, Comfrey. Toffee appears in many of our stories and illustrations of Comfortable Place.Toffee lives in the Charity Shop with his friends: Biscuit , Sherbet and Floyd. He stands 10" high in his bare feet. Made from short synthetic fur which gives him his distinctive look.. He is Cotter-pin jointed with safety eyes, leather pad paws, polyester filling,  a feltt nose and of course all hand sewn. He has sewn eyebrows  to help give him such a cute little face.

Sherbet

Shebet the shop dog. The soppiest dog you will ever meet. Really he is a bear and a dog mixed into one? He fizzes about chasing his tail and getting into anthing he can. He has a 'special' place at the bottom of the garden where he likes to bury things.

He is very soft and fluffy with big floppy ears and a bushy tail. Everyone likes him even though is an aweful lot of trouble,

Sherbet is 10 " high and quite large in body size Made from synthetic fur Cotter-pin jointed with black glass eyes. He has fur pad paws and plastic pellet balance and polyester filling, Sherbet has a brown felt nose and is hand sewn.

Comfrey

Comfrey is a herb with soothing qualities and has been used since Roman times for its medicinal qualities. It has been suggested it has many strange and undiscovered secrets. The flower is hairy with a purple bell shaped flower and grows near to rivers.

Comfrey the bear is very much like this? She is seen by the other bears as the font of knowledge and advice. This is particularly true of Toffee, who believes every word. Whether Comfrey has great secrets to share or just wishful thinking depends on which bear you ask?

Pinguin Brothers

Welcome to the 'unusual' side of Comfortable Place

Shrouded in mystery and even a little skullduggery  the four silent bears scuttle around the passages and gardens of Comfortable Place.

Their little house is a mystery, know-one has been inside.
The four brothers are white on the outside but definately a little 'grey' on the inside.

Simple in style, my first real project in bear making. Fleece synthetic, safety eyes and polyester filling. All the detail is with embroidered thread.

Cheddar

Cheddar the charmer. A bear from Cheddar Gorge but now a resident of Comfortable Place. He is so vain! If a teddy was ever born to be a charmer or a surfer it's him

Cheddar likes to be the centre of attention, and goes out of his way to be liked.

He stands 12" high on his beautiful padded feet. Made from fleecy synthetic fur which gives him his soft and smooth good looks.. He is Cotter-pin jointed with safety eyes, trapunto pad paws, polyester filling, brown felt nose and of course all hand sewn.
