My Bears, Information:

Handmade Artist Bears with a distictive hand painted 'Bear Belly' by Carol Birkeland-Green BA (hons). Each 'Bear Belly' is painted on canvas using quality acrylic artist paints and then varnished in several layers for protection. The canvas is then stitched into the belly of the bear to create a truely unique bear. I also create commissioned bears, please feel free to contact me if you see any style of bear which you would like. I can create your own personalised 'Bear Belly' with a painting of your choice and inscription on the bears feet. An Ideal gift for a special Birthday, Wedding, Anniversary or Retirement present. Please meet a very sweet little bear called Satine. Who is patiently awaiting adoption : ) 

This little bear is number 341 in the Bears of Bath Series and comes with a signed and numbered Bears of Bath certificate.

She is approx 6 inches in height and made from lovely Helmbold pebble ratine mohair and 60mm peacock lemon faux fur. She is fully cotterpin jointed with English 7mm Black Glass Eyes. She is filled with dense polyester stuffing and steel shot. This little bear has a fimo nose : )
: ) She has an embroidered fabric Bears of Bath 2012 label sewn into her back. She has embroidered and pulled toes on her feet. Satine's ears and feet are made from old gold cashmere and her muzzle from ivory cashmere : )

This little bear is entirely hand sewn and from a pet and smoke free home and only the best quality materials have been used in making this little bear.


Bears of Bath is a member of the Guild of Master Bear Crafters
& a finalist of the British Bear Artist Awards 2007 and 2010. Bears of Bath has also appeared in Teddy Bear Times and this edition of the Teddy Bear Annual.. 
Bears of Bath has just won 1st prize in the Miniature Undressed Section of the British Bear Artists Award 2011 

Please note this is a collectors bear and is therefor not suitable for children under 14 years old .
